Bloody Little Bleeder..... Part II

Ok.......... so I stayed in the telly compass the night before me op til gone 2am in the break of day, and when exhaustion lastly crept up on me I tiptoed down the watch to Bed Number 3..... the dimmed midmost point lights were so low, it was all I could do to find the direct bed lol...... I swiftly undressed and climbed into bed, jebus those pillows were rigid...... ya see, I have this one plume pillow at abiding-place that Ive had for years and years, I regard with affection it, its all snuggly and yielding and old and it smells of place of abode, but here I had 3 hard hospital pillows, but ya make out, at least I had me blankie with me, I knew tonight was the last darkness for a while that I would be able to slumber curled up on me side with me knees all bias and in that lovely unhurt curled post......

But sleep I most certainly did not lol...... let me elucidate...... inactive in a ward with 23 other patients, all of them somewhat old bar one woman that I had spied earlier, she must of been in her 50s.... anyways, the moans and groans of somewhat old people when they doze is enough to waken the lifeless, added to that, the sound of the foot cross-examine machines that every able to endure had fitted and laboring with the constant WHOOOOSH and WHEEEESH as they pumped and deflated to keep the motion in a circle going in those frangible bodies.... added to that the nurses at the middle station pushing the obs engine from bed to bed, with the blood crushing monitor beeping and the buzzers buzzing cos someone needed a bedpan, that coupled with the chit gossip noise of the nurses chatting...... there are things I learnt about their solitary lives that darkness I could write a volume about lol.....

So, sleep didnt advance, I tried laying on me side and putting one of the pillows over me head-piece to cover me ears lawful trying to blockade out the noises of the catacomb, but a nurse walked by and ran and grabbed the pillow off me, shocking me so much that I jumped to a session position which startled her so much that she screamed LMFAO...... I muse she must of thought I was...
