Ooops!

Yesterday was a lustrous, warm day, and I went over to the railway to cut the banks along the access driveway and along Shire N.

I mowed for a brace of hours -- solid work, acquirement a hand pushed lawn mower to mow on grades where the lawn mower tips over if you get laterally to the bank -- and then noticed Gary staring down at the brick flap along the platform at Hyde Park place and poking around, his never-failing Pepsi in palm and fingers, as always.

Gary is a removed machinist, and he is usually seized and detained in the machine store or the locomotive store, rebuilding or repairing things metal, so I peering. I shut down the mower and went over to see what he was doing.

In any occurrence, as we dug down several feet, we found a empty space about a foot down-reaching and half the bigness of a dining space table, with a funnel exit dropped in a descending course and in the direction of the stream.
